Our Story
Pampering you can afford!
I, Jennifer (owner) moved to Carnforth over 11 years ago from Canada to be closer to my husband, David’s family. I first began working in Manchester but quickly learned that commuting was next to impossible especially with a family. Wanting to stay close to home to raise our children, I went into business for myself in the nail and beauty industry. Having been to many of the local nail and beauty salons in the Lancashire area I found that there were only two options; those spas offering luxury treatments at a high premium price or those small nail bar type places, although more affordable, lacked any frills or sense of pampering.
Our aim at Gilded Dreams is to fill the gap and provide those luxury and everyday services that both women and men deserve to have at an affordable price all within a beautiful setting where they can come to relax and truly feel pampered. We have been very mindful to ensure that our space is luxurious, comfortable and relaxing. A wonderful bespoke get away from your busy hectic lives.
Providing treatments since the beginning, you will find friends Jennifer and Tracey who are passionate about their work and who will always go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your experience to the fullest. Amanda joined our team a fewyears ago bringing many many years of experience and passion with her. Abbie is our Junior Therapist who recently joined us and we have taken her under our wings to develop her many skills further. We are all professionally trained in a multitude of beauty treatments and a wealth of experience in providing the highest standard of client care. You will not be disappointed. We have also carefully selected the best products such as Gelish, OPI, CND Shellac, Vinylux, Waxperts, Crystal Clear Skincare, Nouveau Lashes, Beautiful Brows, Morrocan Tan, and SunQuest. These products are known for their outstanding quality and will provide consistent results which you deserve.

Jennifer
I moved to Carnforth almost 10 years ago from Canada to be closer to my husband, David’s family. With this move came a lot of change which lead me into an entirely new career path within the beauty industry. The beauty industry afforded me the opportunity to raise my family and still stay connected to people. Over the years I have been professionally trained to provide all types of hand, feet and nail treatments, lash enhancements and lift, facials as well as full body waxing and tanning. I love the variety and am always looking for another challenging opportunity to add to my skill set. Ultimately, it is spending quality time with people, providing treatments and making them feel better that drives me and brings me great pleasure.

Seeing people relaxing and enjoying their pamper in a space that I have created is the cherry on top!
Tracey
Having lived in Carnforth since I was just six year old, many of you know me well. Very much a family girl I am blessed that my perfect career works well with my big family. I went back to college to study as a Nail Technician in 2016 as a mature student after finding by accident that I had a natural talent. I absolutely love doing nail makeovers and have the ability to create bespoke nail art like no other.
Over the years, I have continually added other treatments to my portfolio such as full body waxing, tanning, facials, lash lifts and brow lamination. More recently, I even returned to college and trained as a Level 3 Massage Therapist. I really love learning how to provide therapies to the whole body. Now I am ready to treat you from head to toe to finger tip!
Not only do I enjoy giving beautiful treatments; I thoroughly enjoy spending time with people and it won’t take you long to know that I love to chat!

Amanda is a truly seasoned Massage & Beauty Therapist with over 20 years of experience! Amanda is fully qualified in pretty much everything…..Massage (Swedish, Hot Stones, Lava Shell, Aromatherapy, Indian Head & Pregnancy), Facials, Manicure, Pedicures, Lash Enhancements or Lifts, Full Body Waxing, and Spray Tans. Her passion lies in providing skincare advice and treatment although our clients already claim that she has magic hands for massage.
